About the Social Business: CEI's flagship project, Shaasan (meaning ‘governance’), is a tech-enabled civic initiative that promotes civic engagement and responsive governance for citizens and public representatives in Nepal. Through its programs, Shaasan has trained 800 youth in civic education, reached 187,000 people through digital civic campaigns, and connects over 2500 citizens to experts and decision-makers through community meetings and discussions every year. Shaasan is currently a finalist for the prestigious Nelson Mandela-Graca Machel Award. Shaasan’s work has

About the Y&Y Fellow: Pratik Kunwar is a social innovator and is the founder of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI). Pratik has been a Daayitwa National Public Service Fellow(2018), a WEF Global Shaper(2018), and UN SDSN Youth Local Pathways Fellow(2019). He was selected as a national changemaker by Accountability Lab in 2020. For his work, Pratik was selected in 2021 for the Yunus & Youth Fellowship, 2021 inaugural Feedback Labs Accelerator, and won international grant support from the National Endowment for Democracy, Feedback Labs, and The Roddenberry Foundation among others.
