Growing up in a rural village, he developed a profound respect for nature, which later fueled his academic and professional pursuits in sustainability. With a Ph.D. in waste biomass solvolytic liquefaction and value-added product synthesis, Lukas is driven by the need to address the destructive impacts of our linear economy on the environment. As the co-founder and CEO of Ecorbio, Lukas leverages his multidisciplinary background in chemical, mechanical, and process engineering to lead the development of circular biorefinery technologies. Beyond Ecorbio, Lukas co-founded Healthier Hens in 2021, an initiative aimed at improving the welfare of cage-free egg-laying hens through optimally nutritious feed, further reflecting his commitment to impactful environmental advocacy.
