About the Social Business: During social isolation in Brazil, an increase of almost 50% in cases of domestic violence was observed and it is in this scenario that the MINHA project was born. In order to help women in situations of violence, they are developing an app that promotes the connection of the victim with psychologists to schedule tele consultation and provide guidance and information on domestic violence in a simple and accessible way.
About the Y&Y Fellow: Lourdes was born in Argentina but has lived in Brazil for many years. From the age of 11 she has been a Girl Scout, a movement with which she began her social work. Mathematics, physics and chemistry always fascinated her because they allowed her to understand a little more about how the world worked, which is why she chose to study Physical Engineering at university. There, she joined Enactus, a social entrepreneurship organization that carries out projects that transform the lives of their communities. Today, she is a co-founder of Minha.
