About the Y&Y Fellow: Farras Muhammad is an Indonesian entrepreneur with a deep passion for sustainable food solutions and innovation in agriculture. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Civil Engineering from South Korea, where he also worked for Hyundai as a Business Development Manager. Proven through his studies and experience, Muhammad is a meticulous scholar. He is fluent in Indonesian, Korean, and English, and currently studying French and Mandarin. Driven by his love for food and his business experience in South Korea, Farras has founded multiple ventures from scratch, including an app addressing issues of food waste, and his current initiative, Akar. Inspired by his family’s business legacy, his love of food, and a personal calling to make a difference, Farras is dedicated to using his expertise to tackle food security and environmental challenges in Indonesia.
