About the Y&Y Fellow: David Mwesigwa Lwangwa is a dedicated social entrepreneur driven by a passion to improve healthcare accessibility in Uganda. Growing up in Entebbe, he was inspired to make a difference after witnessing the challenges his community faced in accessing medical care. A graduate of Makerere University, David’s journey into app development and social impact led to the co-founding of Spanhealth, where he works to provide cancer patients with a supportive network and life-changing resources. He believes in the power of inclusive teams and the importance of perseverance, striving every day to create meaningful change in healthcare.
