About the Social Business: Zariya connects women in India who face domestic abuse with counselling and legal help. There are a number of organizations across India that have counsellors/lawyers on staff with experience in domestic violence; however, finding the right organization ba sed on your needs is a challenge. Zariya makes this process easy by vetting these organizations and using factors such as location and language to connect a woman with appropriate help in a timely manner.

About the Y&Y Fellow: Arzav Jain and Prayush Gupta lead the team of passionate volunteers who make Zariya possible. Arzav is from Mumbai and completed his education in Computer Science. He is a software engineer by background who has experience in working at companies from a very early stage and helping them grow. He is currently working on growing Zariya's reach and impact so that it can help bridge the gap between women who are seeking help and the organizations who provide help. By making the process of seeking help easy, free and confidential, he hopes that Zariya will encourage more women to speak up and ultimately live a life free of abuse.
